Amanda Cohen, Associate
Dr. Cohen grew up in New Jersey riding her horses, Duke and Diesel. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut, where she competed on the hunt seat equestrian team through the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association.
She then traveled to England to earn her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College at the University of London. While there, she played for RVC's polo team and competed at the SUPA Polo Nationals. Following graduation, Dr. Cohen completed a rotating internship at Ocala Equine Hospital.
Her professional interests include sports medicine, lameness, and emergency medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and traveling—and spending time with her two cats, Reese and Cosmo, and her Russian tortoise, Pickles.
