Paul Caputo, Associate
Dr. Paul Caputo is a graduate of Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine, earning his degree in 1987. He began his veterinary career as an associate with Dr. Ken Seeber at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where he worked in a high-level Standardbred racing practice alongside some of the top trainers and horses in the country.
In 1991, Dr. Caputo founded Southeast Equine Veterinary Associates, growing it into a three-veterinarian practice serving racehorses as well as a wide range of performance and pleasure horses in Pompano Beach, Florida. Over the course of his career, Dr. Caputo has built a strong reputation within the equine industry and is a Hall of Fame member of the Florida Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Caputo enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy, their three daughters, and grandchildren. He's also an avid musician, playing in a classic rock cover band, and stays active in an over-50 ice hockey league.
